My love for working with kids started when I became a live in nanny for two years for a close family friend that went through a divorce and the mother was working full time as a nurse. I was there for both of her children's births as well. Her daughter did have a disability, so I took her to therapy, also started to learn certain tasks to take care of particular needs the child had. I later went back to school and had to quit because schedules didn't work out to be full time anymore. Because working with kids was so easy for me I then applied at Dee dees daycare in Troy a year or so later, working with infants- pre k students. It comes quite naturally to me to be able to connect with children of all ages.
