Hello there! My name is Mandy and I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. I began working with children when I was 15 years old. I was a babysitter and also worked as an after school aide at daycare. After graduating high school, I got a job as a VPK assistant at a local Episcopal school. I enrolled at Santa Fe College and earned my AA in Elementary Education. I spent a brief period of time in New Mexico and was a nanny for two families while there. After moving home, I enrolled in the Early Childhood education program at Santa Fe College. I did internships at local elementary schools in 1st grade, Kindergarten, and pre-K. I earned my Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University in May 2015. I have always had a passion for early childhood and being an advocate for Read more children.
