Hello! My name is DeCoria and I am a recent graduate of Florida A&M University with my BS in Chemistry. Upon graduating with honors, I was accepted to complete a Post Baccalaureate research program at UF through the MiCaRT Center. I have experience working with children of all ages. I baby sat my little brother without supervision until he was old enough to take care of himself. I did everything from helping with his homework, tutoring him, administering medicine and breathing treatments, and changed his diapers. In addition to him, I baby sat a 2-year-old girl briefly in 2011. I am not CPR Certified; however, as a student interested in pursuing a career in medicine, I am not opposed to receiving certification in the near future. I have my own car and title, car insurance, do not smoke cigarettes, and have recently passed a background check performed for my sublease Read more at the Bartram this summer. I have never been convicted of a felony, arrested, etc. I only have class Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. I conduct research independently so I can work around your schedule if needed. In my spare time I love to eat, cook, watch TV, and do arts & crafts. I am definitely a math person and have always been an honor student, so I have no problem helping with homework. I will be applying to medical school this upcoming Spring. In the meantime, I am taking a class at UF, conducting research, and shadowing physicians. Lastly, I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and raised in Dallas, Texas.
