Working with children is a fun and meaningful job. I've worked as a Sunday school teacher for children ages 4 to 9 for a year. I have been a babysitter for the last eleven years. I have plenty of experience: from newborn infants to adolescents. I have a degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Until August 2015, I was working in Washington, D.C. at a science non-profit as a social media specialist and alumni communications associate. In this position I worked directly with students between 6th and 12th grade on a daily basis. I recently moved to Jacksonville with my husband. He is the Youth Director of a synagogue in the area, and I work alongside him, coordinating babysitting for children ages 0 to 12, as well as educational and recreational groups for the middle and high school congregants. We also run the Jacksonville chapter of a national Read more Youth Group, NCSY. I work with children on a daily basis, and I currently have room in my schedule for a more steady nanny position, as well as occasional babysitting hours.
