Hi, I have been a full time nanny for 5 years and I have a lot of love and compassion for kids. I am very active, and outgoing and bring fun and structure to any home. I have my A. A. from FSCJ and I am currently in the medical laboratory science program at FSCJ but I can be somewhat flexible in the hours that I work to work around my school schedule. I can also offer swim lessons as well, as I was a certified swim instructor and lifeguard. I was a nanny for a family with 2 kids, 2 and 1 for two years before moving to Jacksonville, they were infants when I started. I encouraged reading, playing and being active as well as major milestones. I was a nanny for two boys in Summer 2012 at a beach, they were 13 and 10 and I took them Read more many places and made sure they had a fun and active summer. I have been babysitting for about 7 years from infants all the way to 15 years old. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am more of a nanny and I think my references would agree because I don't just sit with children while they play. I am very interactive and I help the parents in raising their children. I run errands, help with homework, dishes, children's laundry etc. I strive to keep the same environment for the children they would have with their parents home. Consistency is key in keeping things less chaotic! I have a reliable car that can seat up to 3 children, 2 of which can be car seats. I never let children sit in the front regardless of age or weight. I love to take children on periodic "field trips" as well such as to the zoo, museums, the beach, library, parks etc. I am looking for any type of babysitting or part time position right now.
