I am a mother and grandmother who has cared for kids all my life. I babysat as a teen, have tutored and taught ESL to kids and adults. I am a retired journalist and enjoy art, music, plants and nature. I don’t mind helping with light housework, prepping meals or running errands when needed. I can help with homework and reading skills. I like to know specifically what parents want and expect so that I can help keep the child on track with their routine if needed. I can also be hands-off with older independent kids who need very little guidance. I love being with kids of all ages and try to teach kindness and respect through example. Bridget is a great nanny! I was so happy to have found her to watch my two children, one a newborn and the other a toddler. She made me feel at ease with leaving my kids with her, which is a very big deal! I trust her to care for my children as if they are her own. She is also always on time which I find important. She loves playing with the kids, and also teaching them while doing so. She is a very smart and well-rounded person. I would definitely recommend her!
