I am a retired teacher with 25 years teaching experience in grades Pre-K through college level. I have a B.A. in English/Communications and a Master's Degree in Speech/Theatre Arts. I was once named "Teacher of the Year" in Dallas, Texas. I have worked with children my entire adult life and take great joy in it. I also love animals and work well with them, so pets are welcome. I have written and illustrated three children's books. My husband and I currently live in a 55 plus community in Lakeland, and I am seeking part-time work with children or animals. I may not be Mary Poppins, but I am pretty darn close!
