I have been a babysitter for 10 years (I am almost 22 and have been babysitting off and on since I was 12), and I also worked in the YMCA childcare department for a year and a half helping out with their VPK program, their nursery/child watch program, and their After School Success program (working with children of all ages, from newborns to middle-school-age children). When babysitting I have also worked with children of all ages and in various group sizes. When working child care at the Y, I worked with groups of anywhere from 3 to 20 children alone or with a partner for up to 8 hours a day. I am CPR certified and I have taken 40 hours of DCF child care training (specific to child care facility training but applicable to all childcare).
