I'm a nanny with over 15 years of infant and childcare experience. I enjoy working with families of newborns and younger children. When I am with the children, I talk and read to them, and play with them throughout the day when they are awake. I believe that these interactions form the basis for learning and speaking as the children get older. When working with young children, I teach them the basics of singing and reciting ABC's, counting, letter and number recognition, as well as reading with them. I also enjoy taking walks for them to see and discover nature, and other developmentally appropriate activities that are fun for them.
