Hello there! My name is Lauren. I am a Master's in Public Health graduate student at Florida International University. I specialize in health promotion and disease prevention and I am abundantly passionate about everything I do! I am 24 years old and looking for a job to supplement my schooling schedule (night time). I absolutely adore children of all ages. I have two younger sisters myself and I come from a very strong and healthy household in upstate New York though I am moving to Florida permanently. I have been very lucky to have held jobs all pertaining to care and enrichment of kids of all ages, even adults as well! My main job as a prevention educator is to go into local inner city classrooms and teach programming about violence, nutrition, fitness, drugs/alcohol (depending on age), and otherwise healthful lifestyles. For this position that I currently hold, I also Read more am the childcare coordinator and head care facilitator for our Strengthening Families program. There, I watch over, care for and play with children ages newborn to 16 years old! I have also had the good fortune to work at a daycare on campus while earning my undergraduate degree at SUNY Buffalo State College. I played volleyball all through high school and college and love to stay very active! I am an extremely tidy and prompt individual with high energy and a bubbly personality. I take as much care, if not more, of the houses I am in and treat each and every space with utmost respect. I am completely comfortable with cleaning, cooking, playing with children or otherwise helping around any houses.
