My first experience with care giving was not necessarily by choice. After my nephew was born, my brother was a new father so I assumed the role of helping him take care of the baby while he was in our custody. Soon after, my God sister was born and I also took a major role in molding her from a new born to around five years old. I am ServSafe Certified and I have recently taken CPR classes and am more than willing to get certified. I believe in talking and listening to understand a child's needs. I do not support harshly punishing children and I believe there are reasons behind actions and that problems can be solved with love compassion and understanding.
