I am a junior elementary education major looking for hands-on experience with children. I have had multiple nanny and summer teaching jobs, as well as three field experiences in elementary school classrooms and taught in my church's preschool-1st grade Sunday School. I believe in a child-centered education that develops the whole person, that children are natural-born learners, and that play is important for young children, especially outside play, as it encourages their innate curiosity and life-long learning. I enjoy playing with children, encouraging creativity and imagination, and providing structured activities for children, such as cooking, crafts, games, and outdoor play.
