I am an experienced, loving, and honest mom who has always loved children, even as a little girl I would gravitate to any babies and little kids that were close by. I have an Associates degree in Business Management and have been previously certified as an Emergency Medical Technician as well as a Nursing assistant. I also spent several years as a Worker’s Comp Insurance Adjustor. After working in both medical and insurance fields, I decided to return to my real passion…caring for and working with children. I have loved and cared for children in one form or another since I was 11. I babysat for numerous families as well as volunteered to work with special needs children as a teenager. I was a nanny of twin girls for six years while in college. I continued to babysit for friends and family even as I entered the corporate world and Read more started my own family. I was a classroom helper throughout my son’s elementary school years. I also have 13 nieces and nephews that I have helped care for over the years so I am used being around kids of all ages. Most recently, I was a nanny for a little boy from 3 months old to 20 months old and have also been a back up/date night babysitter for several families. I have experience with newborns up to age 12. I have no problem caring for sick or fussy babies and have often been called a baby whisperer. I love seeing kids learn, explore, and interact with the world. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, going to the park, reading, spending time playing outdoors, singing songs, dancing, going for walks, playing games, puzzles and just plain acting silly. Children are very dear to my heart. I love teaching them new things, helping them explore life and watching them grow. It is a blessing and an honor to be a nanny; I treasure being able to be a part of any child’s life for any amount of time. I am trustworthy, flexible, loving, patient, reliable and compassionate. Your little ones health, safety and well-being will be a priority as well as their social and emotional development. Your child will be loved, nurtured and taken care of as if they were my own. I will take every opportunity to help your child learn and reach their developmental milestones as they grow. I offer to keep a daily log of your infant feeding times, diaper changes, naps, activities, milestones and etc. so even when you are not together, you will know what kind of day your little one has.
