My name is Jennie; I’m 28 years old and have lots of experience with kids. When I was young, my mother had a hard time finding a quality daycare service for my brother and me, so she left her job to start her own licensed daycare in our home. I grew up around children of all ages from newborns to teenagers, helping my mom with her daycare as I got older. Many of the daycare parents saw that I was good with their children and hired me to babysit on weekends and evenings; and in my college years, I worked for a family as their nanny for the summer before returning to college in the fall. I have learned a lot about how to provide quality care for children thanks to my mother’s wonderful example with her in-home licensed daycare. She taught me that children require endless patience, careful supervision, Read more and lots of structure. I am also an animal-lover, having spent two years working as an adoption counselor at an animal shelter, so I do not mind watching your furry kids too! I’m a highly-organized neat-freak by nature, and I would be happy to provide help with some household duties as well. Ideally I would like to obtain a stable job as a babysitter or nanny, working preferably around 30 hours per week. I run a small business from my home, and would love a stable job where I can work outside of the house in addition to that. I look forward to meeting you!
