Working with children is something that has always brought me such joy. Their quick wittedness, curiosity and eagerness to learn is such fun to be around and to help cultivate. I am 25 years old and originally from Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota. I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with degrees in theatre and Spanish, and have been here in LA for about a year and a half. Taking the stage and performing, as well as traveling the world are two of my favorite things, and something that definitely proves useful and fun when working with kids. I've been watching kids since I was in junior high, providing care for kids 4 and up for the past 10 years. I've always encouraged kids to explore their artsy, theatrical side. Weather it's singing, putting on plays, learning to play an instrument, painting, or drawing...we do it all. I also Read more encourage the kids I work with to spend less time in front of the computer or television, and more time outdoors. I love to cook, and I value the power of healthy eating. I am more than happy to cook/prepare meals for the kids, as well as help out with any schoolwork that they may have. The variety of families that I've worked for make each day an exciting experience.

We used Casey for a night out while on vacation in Orlando. She was right on time. The boys had a great time with her. We would have used her again, but wound up not taking any additional time away from the kids.

My husband and I were on vacation with our 7 year old twins in Kissimmee for a week and a half. Before leaving we did a search of babysitters in the area and Casey responded promptly and enthusiastically. We didn't know exactly what evening we would need her and agreed to leave it flexible. Once we set the evening, she was very good about checking in to verify that we were still on. In fact, the kids got sick, and we were able to reschedule to an evening later in the week. She was prepared and offered to bring toys, games, or movies the kids might like. The house had a pool, and she was happy to bring her bathing suit and join the kids in the pool, which instantly made her cool in their book! It was nice to come home to a clean kitchen and peacefully slumbering children. The next morning, the kids were asking when they could see Casey again! We will definitely look her up again if we return to the area for a vacation and would recommend her without reservation.
