My experience began 8 years ago when I started caring for my young brothers, then babysitting neighborhood children, all the way to nannying during college summers. My maternal nature has lead me to many opportunities center around children, such as, babysitter, nanny, camp volunteer, scientific mentor, teaching assistant, and yoga instructor. Throughout high school and college, I had the pleasure of working with children of all ages. As a volunteer at the Great Lakes Science Center, I had ample opportunity to mentor, teach, and supervise children aged 4-12. I spent my time teaching discovery labs, children’s camps, and hands-on exhibits both as a leader and mentor. On Sunday I volunteer my time caring for the seedling and sprout (age birth-3) children when their parents attend church service.
