Hi, my name is Hanna and I have lived in Orlando for over a year now. My husband and I were married in August 2014 and I was blessed to spend the last year home learning to be a wife, taking care of my fur babies, and babysitting a few times a week for family friends. Our recent addition is a rescue puppy and he is so much fun! I grew up in Florida and have always had a passion for giving children the love, individual attention, and education they need to thrive in this world. I have my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education but I am deciding to try a different route than teaching in a school. I have never nannied for a family before, but have spent a lot of time with children, other than the experience I gained from my education program. I have always been involved Read more with keeping nursery in my church and right now, I am helping teach one of the children's Sunday school classes. I have done some mission work in Haiti and Guatemala. In Haiti, I worked at an orphanage doing Vacation Bible School with the kids. In Guatemala, I worked in the infant room at a malnutrition center. These were some of the sweetest and most challenging times of my life. I have also worked in day care in the infants' classroom while subbing in the 2 years old through Pre-K classrooms. Although I worked here for a short period of time during the summer, this was my favorite job. I learned so much and got to know the parents of my babies so well. Building that trust with mom and dad is so important. I understand that it is so difficult for moms and dads to leave their kids and go to work, but I also know that in some situations it is necessary. I would love to ease some of your reservations and worries by loving your child(ren) as much as I possibly can and providing you with the best child care available.
