Hello, my name is Olivia. I am a single mother to my own 22-month-old little person who is my greatest teacher. I grew up the eldest of four and worked alongside my mother through much of my childhood helping her care for my siblings. My experiences with my child, my siblings, and throughout my career have taught me how to be truly loving, nurturing, playful, patient, creative, dynamic, and organized! Prior to becoming a mother I worked as a park ranger for four years where I was responsible for the safety and education of children and adults of diverse ages, backgrounds, and abilities. I am passionate about pursuing meaningful work and recognize that our greatest hope for a healthier future lies in our daughters and sons and within ourselves as firsthand examples of the change we want to see in the world. I was nationally certified as a first responder Read more (child CPR and emergency care) through 2013 and will be pursuing re-certification this year along with early childhood development education. I am also trained in fire safety and fire extinguisher use. I have reliable transportation and am available all day everyday (nights and weekends included) to care for your children. I can do light housework including dishes, sweeping/vacuuming, and laundry. I have experience with children of special dietary needs (gluten free, dairy free, etc.). I do not smoke and am not squeamish around animals. I charge $15 per hour, but am ultimately seeking a situation in which I can care for your children while involving my own child who is very easygoing and relishes socialization. With the inclusion of my child, my charge drops to $10 per hour.
