My name is Allie Henkel and I graduated in May with my Master's Degree from Florida State University. Throughout my life, working with children has been my passion. Before graduate school, for the summer, I was a mother's helper to a beautiful newborn girl. I was also the nanny of two wonderful nine-year-old twin boys in New York City for a year, picking them up from school, helping them with homework, bringing them to any activities, preparing lunch and dinner for them, all while making sure that they were safe, respectful to others, and having fun. I also helped organize the apartment in my free time and ran errands for the family. Prior to that, I was a camp counselor from the age of 14 until I was 24, working with children ages 3-12 and slowly moving up from counselor to Department Head. While in Grad School, I also taught Read more classes as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida. Knowing that, I am more than ready to help your children work through their homework, as well as teach them new ways to problem solve. I also am currently running my own personal organization business and would love to help organize your home when there is a free moment. I hope that I can share my fun, as well as very organized, nature with your child or children and I look forward to hearing from you.
