I have been taking care of children in all sorts of settings for many years, first my own children, one of which is special needs, then my grandchildren, whew I have 5. I also worked in The Childrens Center where I was responsible for the total care of 19 infants and children from ages 2 weeks to 18 years old, these children have serious medical problems, I would have to manage all their needs personal and medical need, plus get some off to school and balance two hour feedings around several babies on my unit. I handeled sleep apnea machines, breathing issues, respirators and trach's, seizures, all these children are wheelchair bound. I would make them smile and provide some sence of normalcy.
