Hello! My name is Megan and I recently moved to Tampa, Fl to pursue the MBA program with the USF after completing my undergraduate career in Spanish language and literature from the University of Central Florida. I made straight A's throughout high school and was Dean's list 4 times and President's List twice at UCF. For this reason, I am up for any homework assistance or tutoring and actually toyed with the idea of being a teacher for a long time. I would love the chance to test my theory that I would make a great teacher. Throughout my life, I have worked with children and animals alike. I grew up attending an overnight YMCA summer camp in Jacksonville, Fl and worked as a Camp Counselor there as soon as I was old enough. My job with the YMCA required me to be certified in CPR, infant and adult, and Read more general medical aid and assistance. I was also a certified life-guard for many years, although my certification is expired, the knowledge remains. I most enjoyed working with the smaller children and found that they took to me easily and we always had a fun and safe time together. As an avid violin player, I also gave violin lessons to young, beginner players for 2 years before I moved to Orlando to start my undergraduate studies. Around the same time, I began training and showing dogs (first place every time!) and have knowledge and a true sense of appreciation and respect for all breeds, dispositions and specific needs. I absolutely love all children (and animals!) and have always loved caring for all types of creatures. I love the outdoors, Florida heat, playing board games (can I say this twice actually?), arts and crafts and learning new things. I am looking for a great family with young children and/or pets whose schedule can fit with that of my budding MBA career. Since my courses take place in the evening, generally 6-11pm, I am ideally looking for a consistent, yet flexible day-time opportunity. I love the idea of a meet-and-greet with your family and/or animals and am always available on my cell at (904) 742-2153.
