Hello, my name is Hannah Rae Whitfield. I just recently located to the Channelside Tampa area from Lexington, Kentucky. I have been the Assistant Director at an Early Education Center for the past 3-4 years, before being promoted to Administration I taught preschool. I absolutely love to teach and work with children. But after several years in the licensed childcare setting, I have decided to move to the more private side of things. I am definitely not the type of person to sit in front of the television all day, I believe learning happens best through hands-on experiences. I have experience and training with several different types of curriculum that I like to incorporate in everyday life. My favorite curriculum components to engage in with children include arts and crafts, cooking, handwriting, physical activity, and reading. I am a very clean and organized person and I like having a routine; Read more which from experience I know children operate best with routines and consistency. I have worked with a wide range of ages and I am flexible with each of them. Through experiences and education I know the needs that are necessary for each age group in order to allow them to thrive and reach all the developmental milestones. I have completed my Child Development Associates in the Preschool Program and will complete my degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. I am CPR and First Aid Certified in both Adult and Infant. I have also completed several different training from child health and safety. I don't mind housekeeping, meal prepping, carpooling, or pets! I just want to work with the family and make everyone's day to day life run smoothly.
