Hello, my name is Lindsey and I'm a senior-level communications student at the University of South Florida with a minor in Studio Art. I will soon be working on my T.E.F.L Certificate (Teach English as a foreign language) so I can pursue teaching abroad when I graduate in a year! My passion for taking care of kids and a strong to desire to help them learn was growing up in my mom's work environment as an Elementary Speech Language Pathologist. I would assist her in activities with her students (ages 3 - 10) gaining invaluable experience in the different ways to communicate with children both verbally, and non-verbally. As a sophomore in high school, I took up the opportunity of taking a year-long "baker-buddy's" course, where I was a teacher's-aide to students with special needs. This experience was not only humbling, but made me realize how I have a natural Read more ability to teach. As for baby-sitting experience, I grew up watching my little sister for a couple years. I know I don't have much care taking experience (more classroom), but I can guarantee your family that I would be the ideal candidate to be your child's caregiver, teacher, and friend. Please don't hesitate to contact me. **Availability** Summer A Class ending next week: I am able to start immediately, besides having a class Tuesday/ Thursday afternoons, but only until next week. Then the semester will be ending. Summer B Class: Starting right after Summer A semester, I will be taking a night course (6:30- 9:00pm) on Monday and Wednesdays. Other than those weekday time slots, I am completely available. Starting Fall semester August 22nd: My schedule is not set up yet. But depending on the parent and childs schedule, I'm willing to work around it.
