My childcare experience started with me owning my own daycare center. My center was Gold Seal accredited by the state of Fl. I recently had the amazing opportunity to live in Japan and nanny for 4 rambunctious and loving boys, ages ranging from 10 to 3. Japan was one of the best experiences of my life. I was able to do things with the boys that taught us all new things. We only had to walk a few feet to feel like we were in a whole new world. We were able to try new foods, and learn about the culture in the most fun ways. I challenged myself in a way that I would have never thought possible. I climbed Mt. Fuji, walked across the busiest intersection in the world ( Shibuya Crossing) and went to the top of the highest free-standing building in the world (Sky-Tree Tokyo). I Read more love deep belly laughs and even more, of causing a deep belly laugh. Children are my passion. I love the idea that I could possibly take care of and have some influence over the next astronaut, teacher, president, or scientist. I once heard that children are like a blank chalkboard and we as the influencers of their lives are given the chalk that writes their story. I believe with that great responsibility we should try and create the best story ever told. I hope this has given you a slight glimpse into who I am.
