Originally from South Carolina, Roxanne grew up in a large family of ten brothers and sisters, planting in her a passion for families and children at an early age. In addition to her experience as a Three's Preschool Teacher in South Florida, she also assumed role as Enrichment Director to an entire school. The program specifically was geared toward Spanish and Music Enrichment, which provided fun and educationally dynamic activities for infants, one, two, and three-year-olds, as well as Pre-Kindergarten students within the preschool setting. To supplement her ability to lead and educate her students, she additionally acquired First Aid and CPR Certification, as well as Florida Child Care Certification in multiple areas of study. Since leaving her position as a teacher, she continued to babysit for many families with children of all ages when her schedule allowed, worked as a part-time Nanny, while simultaneously working part-time as a Records Read more and Insurance Specialist for a medical office. In her experience as a Nanny, she had many responsibilities within the home. She completed organizational tasks, maintained cleanliness of the home including laundry and dishes, managed grocery shopping and errands, occasionally prepared dinners for the family, prepared all meals for their 8-year-old son, ensured the completion of homework and school projects, instituted a disciplinary plan as needed alongside parents, encouraged outside play, and managed play dates with neighborhood friends inside and outside of the home. Roxanne's educational background includes two years of study at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, and Child Development classes at Palm Beach State College. Going forward, Roxanne plans to combine her experience as a teacher with her experience in a medical environment to pursue a career working with children as a Speech Pathologist after completing her schooling.  She is very passionate about Child Development, and considers it her life mission to make a positive impact through giving patience and discipline, encouraging self-esteem and independence, providing the freedom for silliness and creativity, and offering love and affirmation to any child who crosses her path.
