To whom it may concern, I recently viewed your open position for nanny and I would be very interested in the chance to work for such a great family. As a December graduate of Appalachian State University, I will have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I am reliable, organized, passionate, personable, easy to get along with, and I have a great sense of humor. In addition to my experience working in the public school system, I have extensive experience working with children and their families in the preschool environment. I have taken multiple training classes such as Blood Borne Pathogens and First Aid & CPR and hold certifications in SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), ITERS (Infant Toddler Environmental Rating Scale), and ECERS (Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale). I feel that these qualities make me an excellent candidate for this position. I am currently student teaching and substituting Read more when able in Morganton, North Carolina. With family residing in the Fulton County area, I have made the necessary arrangements to relocate to Alpharetta, Georgia at the end of December. With the education I received at Appalachian State University and my experience working with children, I am confident in my ability to not only provide excellent care for your children, but to also aid in their educational growth while challenging them to explore the environment around them.
