I have minimal prior experience with nannying but I am passionate about children and caregiving. I have experience babysitting my four year old nephew over the years. I was also a volunteer coach for elementary and middle school recreational cheerleading for five years. Working with children is so rewarding for me because I love watching them learn and grow and I love being able to be the person they trust and look to for answers and advice. It's also great to see them gain life experience and become more and more responsible. I became CPR certified when I was in high school. I also volunteered my time towards the youth group YoungLife and their camps for middle school and high school kids. It was a great way to connect with and help other kids around my age. I currently volunteer my time at a center for trouble teens and young Read more adults and I am very passionate about the program. I am able to reach out to these young adults and help them overcome their difficulties and that is one of the greatest rewards in life, helping others. I have five years of experience in the restaurant industry so I am good at handling fast paced work and handling multiple responsibilities at once. I am also a natural leader in any environment and am extremely outgoing. I adapt to most any environment very quickly and am able to get along with all types of other people very easily, no matter how young or old. I get along with children very well. I am able to have fun with them when it's appropriate and be serious when it's not. I am extremely interested in nannying because I think it will be so much more rewarding than continuing my work in the restaurant industry.
