Susan was with our family starting in March 2017 and is planned to be through August 2017. She has cared for our 9 year old boy and girl twins, our dog, as well as helped out in the house. Susan picked our children up from school, helped them get snacks, and then played with them or took them to activities. She also made sure our kitchen was straightened up, did laundry, helped prep or cook dinners, and also helped us get and stay organized with areas such as our pantry and closets. At times Susan would also run errands for groceries, household items, and haircuts (even for our dog!). Susan introduced us to an app that helped us communicate schedule and lists. Our children really enjoyed Susan, and we appreciated that she considered care for the whole family as part of her work. She is reliable, loving, flexible, and requires little to no guidance (but is easy to communicate with when you do have instructions). We really appreciated all she did for our family during this time and would hire her again.

We have been beyond happy with our nanny, Susan. Not only does she keep our children happy and healthy, but she keeps our house in perfect working order as well. I went back to work full time and knew I would need help managing the kids and the house. Susan stepped right in during the summer managing our school aged children's schedules. Susan created a daily schedule as well as house rules for the kids. She planned a weekly outing for the kids as well as trips to the library and other fun and creative activities. The kids were allowed to bake with her in the kitchen and do crafts for fun as well as take trips to the pool. She made the summer fun! Susan is so skilled at managing her day and all the activities of managing a household. She makes it seem easy to manage laundry, cooking meals, homework and managing the children. She even finds time to organize the pantry or the children's rooms when I haven't asked. She makes my life so much easier. We are so grateful to have her as a part of our family.

Susan watched my children (ages 7&8) for a week. She took them to the park, played games with them, and cooked with them. They had a great time. Susan is very responsible and I felt completely safe leaving my children with her.

Susan Valentine has been with our family for approximately five months. In that time, she has made such a positive impact on our family. She is a natural with children and my three adore her. She is also the most professional child care provider I have ever had. Susan has assisted me by keeping my children engaged in positive, healthy, creative play while I work from home. She reinforces the values I expect from my children, such as good manners. She has also taken it upon herself to help get them organized and be better at performing the duties expected and needed of them. Susan has also helped me in taking things upon herself that I never requested, such as laundry, organizing the play area, changing sheets, and even dinner prep work. Susan’s approach to her career is to make her client’s lives easier and more manageable, which she has done, and we are so appreciative of it. Best of all, she does her job with genuine affection and enthusiasm. Her sweetness and personality make her a joy to have in our home. Suzanne, Decatur 404.281.2355
