I am 26 years old and have been in the childcare field since I was 10 years old where I first started babysitting. I am currently enrolled at Georgia Highlands College/Kennesaw State University in Marietta majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in commercial daycare facilities the past 8 years such as Sunbrook Academy (renamed Woodchase Academy, Smyrna Vinings), Kids R First Academy (Marietta), and Bright Minds Learning Center (Mableton). Within that time, I’ve babysat for several families at the daycare, most of whom I still sit for. I began my nanny journey about 5 years ago starting simple. I watched two littles girls that attended Woodchase Academy. I would pick them up from school, take them home, give them snack and do any school activities as well as after school art activities. On certain nights I would cook dinner, bathe them, and put them to bed. I later Read more transitioned into a full time nanny for a 2 year old boy and 3 months in, a newborn baby boy. I worked 7-4 at their Mableton home and traveled with them working 8-5 when they moved to East Cobb. I nannyed for them for a while with duties much like my previous nanny experience with a little more cleaning involved and then ended up with a paraprofessional position at Compton Elementary in Powder Springs, GA where I am currently employed. I absolutely LOVE children. I come from 3 generations of in home daycare providers and teachers. I have branched out in other fields of work, but I always come back to the kiddies. ❤️ I am currently looking for side gigs for babysitting and nannying. I am a full time student & working part time. I’m looking forward to making new life long relationships. My credentials are as followed: CPR/First Aid Training CDA Credential Childhood Infectious Disease 30+ hours of collegiate Early Childhood Education courses As well as other certificates from Bright From the Start and other state training programs.
