My name is Julie Ryan and I am married and a mom. My child is grown and has moved to Portland, OR, so we are empty nesters. My greatest joy came from being around children and lots of laughter within the house. It's much too quite around here, although sometimes it's nice. While I have not been employed as a nanny, I have care giving experience with children, teenagers and both my parents. I am real good with pet-sitting and pets in general. I have training and education in special education/special needs at UGA. I have been employed in Cherokee, Cobb and Marietta City schools as a certified substitute teacher and my favorite area was in special education. I have worked with more than a few students with disabilities and have several success stories. I am thinking of starting my own business as a personal assistant because I love helping Read more and serving others. I can cook, plan events, run errands, shop, talk, take children to practices, and do whatever I am asked to do with a positive, "can-do" attitude. I love being around other people and honestly care about them. I have taken classes on diversity/cultures and will make every effort to learn and become skilled at offering the best care for your loved one(s). My interests are travel, photography, sports, cooking, on-going education and lifelong learning. I have a sweet spirit, I am a Christian woman and do a good bit of volunteer work. I have old-school work ethics and conservative values, morals, and ethics.
