Here's a bit of information about me :I have two young children ages 6 & 3 and I have a huge family made up of 5 sisters and 5 brothers. (2 sets of twins) I have took care of them my entire life because my mom worked 2 jobs. I have spent my last five years working at a daycare part-time and also doing in-home care work with the elderly and disabled children. I also run my own house cleaning business. I am very experienced. I have worked with people of every ethnicity, religion, and background and I feel like I would be a great candidate for the job. I can pass any criminal background check/drug test, I have verifiable references and I am very responsible and honest. I have a reliable car with valid insurance. If you really pay attention you can learn a lot from kids. Q: What age-appropriate activities would you do with my children every day? A: Well some of the activities I like to do with children are reading, practicing writing, arts & crafts, outdoor exercise/games( simen says, etc.) just to name a few. Q: How do you handle disciplinary situations? A: I believe if a child acts up that they should get time out in the corner. Or I will definitely speak with the parent about it. I do respect all parents wishes on how/if they would like they children disciplined at all. Q.What are the top qualities you think a nanny should have? A.I think that a nanny should be dependable, have patience, be compassionate and caring. I also think that a nanny should be trustworthy, experienced, and a non-smoker. Q.How would you handle a medical emergency? Have you handled one in the past? A.I have handled several medical emergencies so I know how to stay calm. Depending on the emergency I do know CPR. I believe in any emergency you should call 911 first and then you should call parents
