Hello! My name is Lauren Clayton and I am a recent college graduate from the university of Tennessee at Chattanooga! I am now currently looking for a position that fits my experience. I have experience with both special needs and typically developing children. I am also CPR certified. Prior to graduation, I was a museum educator at the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga teaching regular art and kitchen lessons, performing science demonstrations and providing story times for museum guest. Working with children ages two years and up. I was responsible for showing art, science, and health walk-ups, which are 3-5 minutes of educational activities I lead tour groups from surrounding area schools through museum exhibits with supplemental educational information, while managing “creation stations” during museum events and facilitating the museum floor. I have also participated in an after school program called Club discovery, completed an internship with Chattanooga Therapeutic Recreational Read more Services and participated in two different summer camps for special needs children.
