Here's a few of the details you're looking for in selecting the person to care for your children: • light housework is no problem • great with dogs • experienced with special needs children • Christian • conversational Spanish • reliable transportation, fully insured with max limits, clean driving record • non-smoker • able to assist middle and high school aged children with homework • available 8a-8p Monday-Friday and as needed on weekends I graduated from a public Ivy League college (Miami University) who grew tired of the corporate rat race. Caring for children has always been a great experience for me and something I would like to do again. I have taught Sunday school for toddlers, cared for babies (6mo+), and have a love for teaching others. I have a lifetime of experience caring for special needs children. Read more My younger sister has Down Syndrome and our family has always been very active in the special needs community. I have coached for the Special Olympics 3 times. Several families trusted me to be the only baby-sitter who was not immediate family. One note I must include is that much of my childcare experience was 5-6 years ago aside from caring for the children of friends. I hope this does not deter anyone.
