Morgan’s Bio

As a nanny, I strive to utilize formal training and extensive experience to help children learn, develop, and become thriving young adults through creative play, consistent scheduling, and one on one educational interaction.

Childcare has been an interest of mine since I helped my mother run an in home daycare during the summers when I was 11 and 12. My family and their friends would use my babysitting services when they had events to attend or needed a date night. I took college courses towards nursing, and even became a CNA working with elderly both in home and in nursing home settings. While I enjoyed working with elderly, I believe my true passion lies in childcare.

I began working as a lead teacher in a daycare for several years and then as a nanny, and volunteered to assist with the youth program at a local church. In the youth program at the church I was a recurring character in comedic skits we used to aid in lessons, I helped run some art activities, and helped with VBS.

Several of the charges I have worked with have had special needs including hearing impairment, vision impairment, colic, ADHD, severe allergies, and behavioral disorders. Learning to help each charge with special needs was a large part of my job and included leaning some basic ASL, allergy information and treatment. I have also worked with multiples as a nanny and in daycare.
Child development education is very important for a caregiver. As a newborn specialist, I have learned much about infant’s development and needs. I also believe my medical background and CNA make me an excellent candidate in the event of an emergency. I look forward to continuing my childcare education soon as well!

Currently my hobbies and interests include archery, calligraphy, softball, reading, hiking, card games, learning new languages, and most of all traveling!
I look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you may have!
