Most of my experience in working with children stems from my previous career as an elementary school teacher. I earned a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education from the University of North Georgia in 2015, and have since substitute taught in grade levels Pre-K through 8th grade, as well as spent an entire year as a paraprofessional in a Kindergarten classroom. I am looking to move out of that field as a career but still have an immense passion for working with children. What makes me a great nanny/caregiver is that I am extremely patient, high-energy, and I always possess a positive attitude. I have years of experience in supervising children and ensuring their safety and well-being while simultaneously providing a variety of learning experiences. Personally, I live a very active and health-conscious lifestyle. I have been practicing yoga for over a year and a half (I am also Read more a certified yoga instructor), and also enjoy going to the gym several times a week. I enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors/in nature, as well. My plan within the next year is go back to school to become a registered dietitian.
