Hello I’m Lily, a caring mom & lover of life! Originally from W. Africa with 4 languages under my repertoire! I stayed home so I could raise my girls & teach them the values & traditions I was raised with & thank God they're big girls now which has given me the flexibility to work at or away from home! Being a baby sitter/nanny was a natural occurrence! Since my girls were barely a year apart and daycare was quite expensive, I decided to become a stay-at-home mom. Initially my friends, neighbors, & family members would casually drop their kid/s over to play with my girls while they goon personal errands and sometimes go on vacations. The kicker was that my girls would also give me breaks by interacting & forging bonds with these other children-{old & new friends so it was a win-win :-)}! As my girls grew older, Read more I got referrals which have given me the opportunity to continue to work with other families who are in need of a babysitter/nanny to help with nurturing and developing their children! Additionally, I cook, clean, run errands, assist with homework & after school activities, and do all related duties for a smooth functioning of your family & household. I love it because I’m a source of help to the parent(s) who depend on me & my abilities to ensure a safe & nurturing atmosphere for their kid(s), & as a mother too I know the feeling of having a dependable help around so you can break away for a few to focus on you without having to juggle the kids in tow! This feeling is very real & fulfilling to me, plus I am always learning something new from these families/kid(s) which only molds me into a better version of me. At the end of it all, I am honored & blessed to have given the opportunity to mentor & create a positive impact on these kid/s & gain another extended family through my work!
