HI! My name is Leslie and my favorite people in the world are kids! I am a former elementary school educator in the Fayette County school district and have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I love to cook and bake, understand the value of physical activity (let's play!) and am highly organized. I can assist the family by staying on track with the daily household chores, transportation to activities, pet care and run general errands. In short, I will provide superior, well-rounded childcare and manage your household too! My previous families describe me as fun, lovable, dependable, honest, and trustworthy. I can easily grasp instructions, adapt well to new situations and strive to seamlessly fit into your family. In my most recent position I cared for two girls from birth through high school (1998 - 2014). When the girls were young, total focus was on their care and needs. Read more I always provided healthy snacks and/or meals. As the girls grew and entered their school years, responsibilities shifted to play dates, after school activities and homework assistance. Prior to that (1993 - 1998), I cared for a boy and a girl after school and assisted with transportation and homework. I also assist families referred to me with overnight care, destination care and weekend babysitting. I am looking to join a family full-time (M-F). Ideally, either all day with young, stay -at-home children or after school only care (after 2pm). Until I find my full-time family, I am happy to assist with the occasional weekdays, nights, weekends, overnight care and destination care (Traveling? Hotel event? Adults only? I'll come with you).
