I am a college student looking for to help out occasionally or after school! My name is Marissa, I am a cross-cultural major at Toccoa Falls College. I have 3 siblings, and one of my brothers is autistic. Throughout high school, I was responsible for caring for my siblings (the youngest is 9 years younger than me) while my parents were at work. When I started college, I began to nanny as a summer job. The first summer, I nannied daily for a family with two boys, ages 5 and 7 and also spent every other week a 5 year old girl. The next summer, I started working with another family with 3 girls, ages 5, 7, and 12. I spent weekdays with their girls and we had (and still have) a lot of fun. Marissa has been a blessing to me and my kids. Marissa makes sure the kids are entertained and actually interacts with them. She takes them places and makes sure they're not just zoned out in TV & video games. She's taken them to VBS, parks, and out to lunch among other places. My kids adore her and I would be lost without her.

Marissa is the best sitter I have found! I have been very impressed as to how hands on with my daughter she has been. Unlike the other sitters I previously used Marissa takes time to play with my daughter, takes her to fun activities, even spends time reading books with her. I am new to leaving my daughter with a sitter, but Marissa has made it so much easier by knowing that my daughter is having fun and being very well taken care of.
