am a parent first and foremost. I began my professional experience in childcare and development in 1999. I worked as a childcare provider during my college years at a daycare center, Happy Haven Daycare. After college, I began a full time career as a literacy specialist with the national non-profit organization "Save the Children" for school age children grades 1-5, as well as in an after school program for at risk children grades K-5. In 2006, my daughter was born and I left my career to become a full time mother. In 2009, I became self employed as a intervention specialist. My training in this area lends itself helpful to understanding cognitive behavior and the learning habits of children and adults.
