Growing up I have always had a love for children. At the tender age of (9) I completed my first CPR/First Aid Class and from there on, my passion grew. At the age of (17), I discovered that my church had a daycare. I then soon began volunteering in what was known as "The Discovery Cove" and did so for the next 3 years. Soon after, I relocated to Beaumont, Texas where there I had the opportunity to volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club. We not only would focus on their academic success and extracurricular but would also plan and play many different games to work on their team building skills and how to work together effectively. Upon leaving Beaumont I then moved to Houston where I began teaching at an after school program. There I worked with Pre-K as well as Kindergarten students. I sincerely believe that teaching Read more is what I've been put here on earth to do. My many experiences within the education field has led me to view this profession is not only a "job" but an enjoyment.
