Hello, my name is Annunetta, but I go by Ann. I am presently in the middle of a career transition and will begin working on my graduate degree this month. I am not currently employed and as such I tend to have a lot of free time in between classes and volunteer work. My previous babysitting experience is mostly with family as I've helped rear my nieces and nephews at some point in their lives, primarily from newborn to seven years old. Since I haven't been able to find a job during the time between completing my BA and starting my MS, I've begun considering babysitting as a viable option to supplement my income. I am certified in Adult and Pediatric First/CPR/AED as of July 23, 2015, as I see this is usually a primary requirement in babysitter requests. I enjoy working with children of all ages, although newborns-toddlers are Read more my favorite because I find them so entertaining! I am very good with grade school children as well and enjoy helping with homework, reading to them, outdoor activities, and watching educational programs. I think I will do well as a babysitter provided I am able to cultivate a good relationship with the parent(s) and child(ren). My BA is in psychology and since I knew I was considering babysitting, I took Child and Adolescent Development because the course is very helpful in understanding where a child may be physically, emotionally, and mentally as they continue to grow. My youngest nephew (now 22) had ADHD growing up and I have to say the text was very helpful in understanding his behavior both then and now.
