Being the oldest of the cousins in my family, I have always been the "go to" to watch, take care of, and entertain the younger kids. It was never a bother to me though because I enjoyed it. As I matured, I could not help but notice how adults seemed to want kids to also act like adults. I like to make sure that there is engaging activities whenever I watch kids.However, I am not a caregiver, mother, nanny, or babysitter. My first paid job was six years ago and I watched three kids during the summer. It was a great experience. I just recently graduated from the dental hygiene program at Southeastern Technical College and I have been diligently applying to dental offices in the surrounding areas. I am in a transition phase and so I am looking for a full or part time job until a hygiene position Read more becomes available. With this being said, I would not walk away without ample notice and leave you without care for you kids. In the dental hygiene program I did do a lot of work with children, including giving interactive presentations on oral hygiene on a Pre- K level.
