My experience: I have been babysitting children since I was 13 years old, and I always knew that the child care field was something I would fit into very well. I worked in an at home daycare center (reference available on request) for about a year, mainly helping with the children during playtime/lessons, and helping prepare meals and snack as well as assisting with cleanup. I feel that personally I am most compatible with children under the age of 5, and I work really well with infants. I was a Girl Scout for 8 years and took courses in child care, CPR and first aid. I am not certified in CPR, but I am working to schedule classes so I can be. I believe that I have a strong connection with children, and love being around them dearly. About me: I am a senior at Sprayberry high school, and will be graduating in May. I have been an active member in the color guard and winter guard teams for three years, and have been involved in the leadership program for the band, which led me to become a captain. I will be going to college locally for a year, starting this fall, then I will be moving to transferring to another school in Charlotte, NC, which is why I'm mainly looking for a full time summer position.
