Hello families! My name is Leigh, and I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Berry College. I have completed many courses regarding child development and have an understanding of children's needs. I am a very energetic person with a strong desire to help children learn through play. I believe that learning opportunities can be found in every day work and play. Whether it's learning about patterns while making bead bracelets or learning about water safety while taking a trip to the pool, I always find a way to help children learn! To me, nannying is more than just a job -- it's a passion. It is highly important for me to foster trusting and loving relationships with the children I nanny. I take great pride in working with children and make it my sole mission to keep children happy and healthy while in my care. I am Read more an excellent cook and can provide delicious and healthy meals that your children will want to eat! I also am willing to take children on outings to museums, the zoo, etc. I am not a nanny who allows children to watch television and play video games all day. I love being outside, and I think all children should play and learn outdoors! I have ample experience as a babysitter and as a nanny. I have babysat children ranging from ages 1 to 9 over the past six years. I have also nannied for a family with 2 young boys. While I babysat for this family on a regular basis, I nannied for them one summer when the boys were 5 and 7 years old. This summer was filled with everything from museum adventures to slip-n-slide challenges in the front yard! My car will only hold two children, so unfortunately, I cannot serve as a nanny for families with more than 2 children. If you choose me to be your nanny, you will have a peace of mind knowing that your child/children are in good hands!
