I come from a wonderful family. Our parents taught us the value of education, hard work and strong moral values from a very young age. I began babysitting and have cared for children off and on for many years. Being a mother has been the most rewarding and fulfilling experience for me. Over the years I have been a girl scout troop leader, active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts (I'm proud to say my son's an Eagle Scout) and volunteered with in the schools and with my church youth group. I'm a go-with-the-flow individual, constantly evolving and adapting to each family's lifestyles and preferences. So there is no limit on my abilities. I studied at the Read more University of Kentucky, have 20 plus years of childcare experience, excellent communication skills and am reliable (so is my car), honest, dependable, punctual, active and fun-loving in my approach with children. I'm experience at handling multiple families' schedules and managing my calendar. My current experience involves caring for an infant and a toddler and I love every minute of it! We spend time playing outdoors, going for walks, going to the park, reading at home, going to story times at the library, playing dress up and hide-and-seek and of course an impromptu puppet show for some giggles! In all of my activities, I'm focused on the individual development and growth of the child while maintaining a safe environment at all times. I'm also able to help any older siblings preparing for their day and returning from school in the afternoon. I am open to part time, full time and overnight childcare for the right family.
