Meet Brinna

Hi families! My name is Brinna and I live in Peachtree City, Georgia. I'm 18, an art junkie and a soon-to-be college student. But most importantly, i love caring for kids. I have for as long as I can remember. When I was three, my babydoll and I were inseparable. I even told everyone i wanted to be a 'mommy' when I grew up. Being the oldest of five kids, I grew up helping my mom with my siblings. I have changed diapers, entertained, tutored and prepared meals for my siblings for the past 6 years. As they have grown up, I have learned the ins and out of childcare from infants to teenagers. Throughout the years, I have also babysat for family friends on occasion as well. As I entered high school, I began to develop my childcare skills by developing my leadership through volunteer work. One summer as Read more volleyball captain of my high school team, I tutored a couple of younger girls in volleyball because they really wanted to make the team. Another summer, I was a volunteer camp counselor at a summer camp for middle school girls. Lastly, this past school year before school, I mentored a little boy with special needs. Taking care of children is one of the most meaningful jobs you can have. Not only are you able help a child develop and grow, it helps you grow as well. It teaches you patience and flexibility and helps you notice the beautiful little things in life. I'm a great nanny because I am kind, creative and reliable. I love learning new things, exploring and being creative. I would probably enjoy drawing with sidewalk chalk on the driveway, swimming, going to a museum or kicking around a soccer ball just as much as your child would! I also love to teach and would love to share some of my hobbies and interests with your children like guitar, painting or photography. As a honor student, I'd also be up for tutoring. Lastly, I can cook. I'm not a professional chef but I can follow a recipe and I've been cooking regularly for my family for a year. Taking care of children is one of the most meaningful jobs you can have. Not only are you able help a child develop and grow, it helps you grow as well. It teaches you patience and flexibility and helps you notice the beautiful little things in life. I hope you can give me that opportunity!
