Since a young age, I knew I was an excellent care giver because of my compassion and love for children. I began to take babysitting workshops at North Fulton Hospital and received a babysitting certification. I began to watch the neighborhood kids as a teen. When I was 17, I had the opportunity through Roswell High school to commute to Sweet Apple Elementary to be part of the B.R.I.D.G.E.S. program and work with children who were diagnosed with behavior disorders and/or autism. I fell in love with many of the kids and became close with a few of the kids and their families. I cared for two of the kids outside of the classroom for several years until I moved into the city to go to college at Georgia State University. During college, I was a nanny for two families. After graduation, I began to work at a large brokerage Read more firm. In time, I found that being with kids was truly my passion and the money was not worth my unhappiness! I would love to find great families to nanny or babysit for. I do not smoke and have a clean background and driving record. I have my first aid/CPR certification and I used to lifeguard. I have a great outlook on life and I'm fun and adventurous! I have a 4lb chihuahua named Lucy. I love animals and don't mind caring for your pets too! I love to cook, draw, play tennis/ping pong, any games really, magic tricks, read, help with homework, clean etc. I believe kids need nurture and support, healthy boundaries/rules, problem solving and games, great communication, patience, fairness, free expression of thoughts, feelings and observations.
