I have always enjoyed being around children....earned an undergraduate degree in elementary education and completed my master's degree while teaching school. To me there is nothing more important than giving a child a loving and happy start in life....having fun with them and watching them grow in positive ways, knowing perhaps you had a small part in all of that! I love being a mother to my own children (ages 29, 27, and 24) , even though my role has changed quite a bit, as each of them has successful careers in NYC and DC. With their lives being full and happy....and very independent...I am at a point in my life where I can offer my years of experience to other families. Accepted my part time nanny position saying it was the perfect position, however 3 days prior to the start date, she informs me that she took a full time job elsewhere. She never told me she was even looking for full time work. Very dishonest and unprofessional.
