I have recently graduated from Old Dominion University. I am relocating to the Sandy Springs area at the end of September. I have been working with children ages ranging from six weeks to 5 years old for approximately 8 years. My tasks include assisting the children with various activities, meals, diaper changing, potty training, and overseeing playtime. Some of the activities include arts and crafts, story time, sing-along, etc. In college I took a music for elementary teachers course which allowed me to make lesson plans that involved different ways of teaching all subjects by incorporating music and interactive activities for levels 1 through 3 (daycare-fifth grade). While working in a home daycare center it allowed me to learn flexibility and patience because of the different age groups and personalities.
