Hello families! My name is Kati and I am currently a senior in college. I plan to graduate in May 2014 with a B.S. in Psychology and Family Studies. I am a very energetic person with a strong desire to help children learn through play. I believe that learning opportunities can be found in every day work and play. Whether that be learning about patterns while making bead bracelets or learning about water safety while taking a trip to the pool, I always find a way to help children learn! To me, nannying is more than just a job -- it's a passion. It is highly important for me to foster trusting and loving relationships with the children I nanny. I take great pride in working with children and make it my sole mission to keep children happy and healthy while in my care. I also am willing to take children on outings to museums, the zoo, etc. I am not a nanny who allows children to watch televisions and play video games all day. I love being outside and I think all children should play in nature! I have ample experience as a nanny. I spent two summers working as a nanny for one particular family with two small girls. I was in charge taking of them from 8 am to 3 pm every day. Each day, I bathed them, fed them, cared for them, played with them, and took them on a number of outings. I also took care of a few household duties while the girls took naps. My car will only hold two children, so unfortunately, I cannot serve as a nanny for you if you have more than two children. I am currently taking a course in pediatric CPR and First Aid and will be certified in time to start a nanny job! I have also taken a vast number of classes in college about children and families. If you choose me to be your nanny, you will have a peace of mind knowing that your child/children are in good hands!
